Art Zine

2023

Saatchi NZ owns one of the most sizable art collections in the Australasian Advertising Industry. In collaboration with the CEO and leadership team, I brought to life their collection through a tangible

fold-out zine, with the idea that art can be perceived from various angles and can be read in any direction.

 

Art direction centered on highlighting prominent artist names and imagery that showcases the stunning architecture of the Saatchi building.

Saucy

Saucy 
Brand Identity

2022/2023

Saucy is my personal brand and e-commerce store, representing my unique and individual style that brings together my love for vintage saucers, craftsmanship and design. 

 

Saucy celebrates the joy, goofiness, and whimsy of combining bold quotes with elegant china pieces that were typically kept off-limits by your Grandma.

The initial phase of the product line launch involved the development of brand identity, packaging design and digital content, with further initiatives planned for the future.

Packaging Re-brand

I was asked to re-brand the whole suite of Torpedo7s product packaging. This required the development of a fresh design system for their home range products, aimed at effectively conveying their commitment to producing top-notch, sustainable and functional products.

The system needed to be flexible yet simple and easy to adhere to, benefiting in consistency and a greater brand presence.

As the Lead Packaging Designer/Manager, I was responsible for interacting with important stakeholders as well as overseeing the work of freelance contractors. 

 

My primary responsibilities involved Design and Art Direction, encompassing a range of skills including the development of packaging guidelines, layout design, asset management, iconography, mockup creation, photo retouching, and packaging setup.​

Tourism

Campaign & Design System

2022/2023

Lockdowns and WFH have kept us away from our CBDs. They’ve changed and evolved, and we’ve missed it all. CBDs have become unfamiliar places.

As part of a Tourism NZ initiative to encourage people to visit and re-view their cities, I designed a new campaign system that effectively captures the unique character and vibrancy of each featured location.

The campaign is brought together by a cohesive blend of modern and functional typography, as well as eye-catching and lively colours within the imagery.

Re-brand

Founded in 1990, Board & Batten's philosophy is based on the idea that interior design should be available to everyone.Their design aesthetic is characterised by a timeless quality that emphasises attention to detail and craftsmanship.

 

Recently, I collaborated with the new owner of Board & Batten to conduct a comprehensive brand audit and revitalise the entire business with a fresh, contemporary look and feel.

Campaign Concept

2022

Working with Allpress on an Australian market relaunch, I drew inspiration from the concept of "cafe thoughts". By developing a new idea and conceptual framework, I incorporated visual elements from the Allpress brand, including colours and shapes, while also considering the local settings and its humans.
